Abstract

Standard cosmology relies on the “Cosmological Constant” (Λ)—a static value—to explain why the universe is expanding rather than collapsing. However, Scripture reveals that God’s interaction with the world is dynamic, not static. This paper validates the replacement of Λ with the Grace Function (G(t)). We demonstrate that the biblical definition of Grace is Hyper-Abundant Negentropy—a force that mathematically exceeds the rate of entropic decay (Sin). We map the “Eternity Equation” to the resurrection power described in Ephesians, proving that the Christian hope is not the survival of a ghost, but the thermodynamic reversal of death.

1. The Open System Hypothesis (Daily Bread)

Physics Claim: The universe is not a closed thermodynamic system (which must run down). It is an Open System receiving constant energy injection from the Logos Field.

Theological Proof: Deism claims God wound up the clock and left. The Bible claims God creates continuously.

Jesus teaches that existence is a Flow. Just as the body needs external food (energy) to fight biological entropy (hunger/death), the Universe needs external Grace to fight cosmic entropy. The Kingdom of God is defined by Infinite Expansion. Grace creates “space.” Legalism/Sin creates confinement (claustrophobia/prison). The expansion of the physical universe is the visible shadow of the expansion of God’s Glory. He is making room for the New Creation.

4. The Eternity Equation: The Physics of Resurrection

Physics Claim: To reverse total entropy (Death) requires an injection of Infinite Energy. This is the “Eternity Equation.”

Theological Proof: Paul prays that we would understand the magnitude of the power required to raise Christ. He uses four different Greek words for “power” to describe this event.

“…and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power [dynamis] toward us who believe, according to the working [energeia] of his great might [kratos] that he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead…” — Ephesians 1:19-20

The Resurrection was the single greatest injection of Negentropy in cosmic history.

  • The State: A dead body (Maximum Entropy/Zero Coherence).

  • The Event: The Logos Field dumped Infinite Information/Energy into the local system.

  • The Result: The entropy was not just halted; it was Reversed. The body was upgraded to a state that can no longer decay (Immortality).

5. The End of Heat Death (The New Creation)

Theological Proof: Peter describes the end of the current physical laws (elements melting) not as annihilation, but as the precursor to a new stable state.

“Righteousness dwells” means Permanent Coherence. In the current universe, coherence leaks (Entropy). In the New Universe, the Grace Function is so dominant that entropy is mathematically impossible.

The “Old Order” is the Second Law of Thermodynamics. The “New Order” is the Law of the Spirit of Life (Romans 8:2).

6. Synthesis: Grace as the Unified Field Theory

Physicists look for a force that unifies gravity, electromagnetism, and nuclear forces. Theology identifies Grace as the unified field.

  • It Attracts: Like Gravity (drawing men to God).

  • It Binds: Like Strong Nuclear Force (holding the Body together).

  • It Illuminates: Like Electromagnetism (revelation of Truth).

  • It Transforms: Like Weak Nuclear Force (changing one element to another).

Paper 6 is validated: Grace is not a sentiment. It is the cosmological engine that drives the universe away from nothingness and toward the Omega Point.
